I just read in a blog that for dreams to come true, you must make the right choices for them. If you want to get something, you also must give something away.
In a couple of weeks, I will start at a work that I feel fit me perfectly both professionally and as an individual.
I also end my part-time consulting. I want to thank all the great customers I have had the pleasure to work with during the past two years. I have learned a lot and grown both professionally and personally, thanks to successes and solving challenges.

In 2018 I presented my working life steps, so far, at an alumni day at Åbo Akademi University. There I got the question if I have had a mentor since I have done so many different things, which I haven´t had. But it raised the thought of becoming a mentor, which I acted as last year for the mentoring program at the University of Turku – a task I by the way honestly recommend, to anyone who is constantly looking for different ways to develop their ways of working. At the end meeting of the mentoring program, I got the chance to tell the participants of my reflections about being a mentor. I told among other things that about a year after I had started Tove Holm Consulting one friend of mine changed her workplace and said that she had been inspired by my first blog post, in which I shared the advice of my former supervisor, which was don’t stay put but challenge yourself, constantly; with smaller or bigger challenges, depending on your life situation, which is advice I follow.
I reflect on my work, weekly and annually. A couple of days ago I saw a post about the Inner Development Goals framework, which I applied for my annual reflection this year, which I recommend to you too. The tool can be found here.
I wish you all courage to follow your dreams.
If you want to continue following my journey you can do it on LinkedIn.
